Breakfast In America 40th Anniversary

Limited Edition Paris MkV

The Breakfast In America 40th Anniversary Paris MkV is a very special, limited edition turntable meant for true fans of Roger Hodgson and Supertramp! The B.I.A. 40th Paris celebrates the 40th anniversaries of the album Breakfast In America and of Oracle Audio who both originated in 1979! Only forty B.I.A. 40th Paris will ever be built, making it highly collectible! This turntable is exclusively available on Roger Hodgson’s online store, reserve yours today!

The beautiful artwork for the plinth of the B.I.A. Paris, provided to Oracle by Roger’s creative team, was inspired by the iconic album cover and it harbors Roger Hodgson’s 2019 B.I.A. 40th Anniversary World Tour graphics! Its design pays tribute to the title track by showcasing the lyrics of the song in the background. Integrating this signature piece of art to the Paris turntable requires the application of multiple layers of a very high-quality clear lacquer, fine-sanded at each step, in order to obtain its high-gloss, glass-like finish.

For this very special occasion Oracle has opted to re-introduce the famed Prelude tonearm in its MkII version after decades off the market! With its key operational features in chrome and its main body in white, the Prelude is mounted on a beautiful hand-brushed and clear lacquer coated aluminum tonearm board normally reserved for the Delphi turntable! Along with the white plinth, acrylic platter and record clamp, the B.I.A. 40th Paris compliments Roger in a very special way;  after all,  he is well known for wearing a white suit for his live performances!
